Troop 201 Diamond Jubilee

Boy Scout Troop 201 has a long and illustrious history in the Scouting movement. Chartered October 29, 1926 Troop 201 has graduated more than 70 Eagle Scouts over the years. Troop 201 celebrated its Diamond Anniversary Sunday, July 15 at East River Park.

In addition to current troop members, several former scouts and adult leaders made the scene. Quite a few Eagle Scouts attended including William Kucklick, Bruce Kanehl, Steven Roberts, William Kost, Rudolf Kamper, Matt Duncan, Michael Weeks, Mike Sawonik, Eric Drda and Bryan Machala. Amelia and Clara Harding represented their brother, the late Charles A. Harding. Also attending were former scoutmasters Garry Geist and Gary Gindlesperger and committee chairmen Jim Boddy, Andy Gardner and Bruce Zayd.

Thanks also to all the volunteer scouters from the area who came to help mark 75 years of Scouting in Troop 201.
