Summer Camp

It's June, school's out and Summer Camp beckons. Twenty nine scouts and six adults made the annual visit to Seven Ranges Scout Reservation in the rolling hills of Carroll County.

During the week in camp scouts worked on merit badges and rank advancement and, of course, earned their camp honors. Nine new scouts and Assistant Scoutmasters Phil Magnone and Al Lee earned their first year Pipestones. The Pipestone camp honors program and its 75 years of tradition in the Buckeye Council along with the excellent programs is what keeps Troop 201 coming back year after year.

Senior Patrol Leader Adam Pawlak took charge of the daily camp operation and did a first-rate job.

The Troop camped in the Blue Jacket site this year during the second of eight summer camp sessions. Reservations are already made for the same time and campsite next year.
