The Buffalo Navy and Servicemans Park was on the adgenda for November and a little (well, a LOT) winter weather didn't dampen the spirits of the scouts and adults who made the trip.

After a brief windy and wet stop at Niagara Falls the troop arrived in Buffalo with the snow. The staff quickly got everyone aboard the USS Little Rock and assigned berthing space. Troop 201 (or, the 201st as a retired Navy Chief kept calling us) were assigned to First Division in the bow of the ship.

The boys and adults had the opportunity to tour the Little Rock, the last existing light cruiser, and the destroyer USS The Sullivans. The nearby museum offered Harrier rides in a simulator and a chance to view memorabilia of Buffalo service veterans from WWI through the Gulf War.
