Whitewater Rafting
In what had to be one of the more exciting excursions in recent memory, the troop
conquered the Youghiogheny River in Western Pa. during a whitewater rafting trip in July.
The Monday trip (is is MUCH less expensive to raft Monday) followed an overnight camp
at Scarlett Knob Campground. The area was nice although there was some consternation
about the menu for Sunday night's dinner.

Old No. 39 with Bruce Zayd in (somewhat) control runs the last set of rapids
on the seven and a half mile river trip. Also aboard were Chip DuMound,
Eric Drda and Bob Dubound (not seen bouncing off bottom of raft)
